About the Book

​A Forum For Peace is a collection of excerpts from the most topical of Dr Ikeda’s peace proposals, issued by him every year on SGI Day (January 26). For the first time these proposals have been classified by themes—environment and energy, peacebuilding, poverty and human development, regional governance, participation of civil society, soft power, human rights, nuclear disarmament, empowerment of women, human security, counter-terrorism strategies, culture of peace…. The book will be of special interest to youth keen on reawakening and empowering the human spirit as well as those associated with peace studies, international relations and ethics.
